Policies - Drumming For Jared Program
Attendance / Make-Up Policy A A A
At the beginning of any program, specific days and times for lessons are agreed upon between parents/guardians, students and the studio. If the student is late to a lesson, any make-up time given at the end of the lesson will be at the studio's discretion. Regular attendance is expected. As soon as possible the student should notify the management office in writing (e-mail preferred) of any absence.
* Studio closure dates can be found on our calendar page.
Snow Days
Boulder Drum Studio will close when Boulder Valley School District closes due to inclement weather. Boulder Drum Studio will place a message on the studio's website and the telephone answering system regarding storm cancellations. Make-up lessons may be rescheduled at the discretion and availability of the teacher.
Registration Policy
For new students, the registration form must be submitted at least three days prior to starting a lesson program or class.
Students are considered registered for an assigned program until the management office receives and approves a written request to withdraw. Notification of withdrawal from lessons or classes must be received in writing by the management office and is effective from the date the written withdrawal is received, not the date of the last lesson attended. Teacher notification is not considered formal notice of withdrawal. A students program will be canceled if two or more lessons are missed without written notification.
Boulder Drum Studio reserves the right to discontinue a student’s program at any time if the teacher is made to feel uncomfortable by the student or the parents in any way, shape or form.
Liability
By enrolling at Boulder Drum Studio, parents or legal guardians agree that Boulder Drum Studio shall in no manner be liable for any accident, injury, loss, theft, or damage which may be sustained on the premises in conjunction with any studio-related activity or function. Children under the age of 12 may not be left unattended on Boulder Drum Studio premises. Children (under the age of 12) arriving for lessons or classes are to be escorted to their teacher and met in the waiting room at the end of each lesson. Boulder Drum Studio is not responsible for musical instruments or any personal belongings left on the premises. The student is responsible for any damage to the studio's property that he/she incurs.
I understand that any lawsuit over the terms of this agreement shall be brought within the courts of Colorado and governed by the laws of that state. Accordingly, the parties hereby subject themselves to the jurisdiction of those courts. Should such a dispute result in any term being declared contrary to those laws, the remaining terms shall still be binding. The losing party will pay all reasonable and necessary costs (including attorney fees) of any lawsuit to enforce this agreement.
